Christopher Senie has practiced in the field of land use and land litigation for over 30 years and is licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut as well as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Senie graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts in 1976 and the University of Bridgeport School of Law in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1981.
Mr. Senie has represented condominium developers, commercial building owners, neighborhood groups and private property owners in numerous land use matters. He has extensive experience appearing before lay boards such as Planning Boards, Zoning Boards of Appeals and Conservation Commissions. Mr. Senie has tried land use cases and appeared numerous times before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Since 2009, Mr. Senie and his family have developed a mixed-use village in the Town of Berlin, MA called Riverbridge. Mr. Senie drafted and had approved at Town Meeting an overlay zone that allows the development of 204 apartments, a 105-room hotel and additional commercial buildings. While developing his zoning and land litigation expertise, Mr. Senie has been an active participant in many community organizations. He has served on a number of town boards and committees over the years including in the Town of Westborough the Master Plan Advisory Committee, the Housing Partnership, the Government Study Committee, and the Local Cable TV Board of Directors.
In 2015 Mr. Senie and his wife relocated to Brewster, MA. Mr. Senie is active in the Academy for Lifelong Learning which is hosted at the Cape Cod Community College.
